Grandma's Apple Pie

Grandma Irene's streusel apple pie has been a family favorite for years! As a youngster, I went to her house to help her bake pies and painstakingly, in my best third grade script wrote out the recipe. I've added to it a bit over the years, adding sugar to the crust, swapping half of the Crisco for butter, but it largely remains the same. My family asks for it every year for Thanksgiving and when we have a bunch of apples. I take a pie when I go to visit my parents, my nieces have started making it for their Grandpa and their families. I love the Grandma's recipe is being carried on through the generations!
