As much as I love decorating inside for Halloween, I love decorating outside even more! I found this sign years ago (I have no idea where!) and knew I had to have it. Trixie was a nickname from a long time ago. The sign sits proudly right in front of the door to let everyone know, "Yes, Trixie the witch lives here!"

Does anyone else love the smell of mums? I do! Something about the scent says "Fall!" to me. They come in so many colors and bloom for a long time! On the front door we have another ode to Bertha.

A few years ago hubby found a huge inflatable dragon, she has been a part of our Halloween every since. Her wings move and her eyes glow!

And of course, we have an inflatable super dachshund -- Pattycakes next to the dragon.

This year, I added something new... I saw these witches in a catalog and thought, "I can make those!" So I did! I bought four tomato cages, four wig heads, four witches hat (cheap on Amazon!) and some tulle. Added garbage bags, zip ties and some old black pantyhose and voila! scary witches! Here is how they look at night... and during the day

I love them!

We added lights to the trees and a few jack o'lanterns and we are ready for Halloween!
